Irrational application and overuse of antibiotics in poultry production is associated with antibiotic residues meat tissues which lead to the development resistance pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella. This study investigated co-existence multi-drug resistant Salmonella typhimurium (S. typhimurium) residual traces chilled chicken collected from Fayoum province Egypt. Our data reported that 22.2% liver were contaminated S. 100% being drug a wide range antimicrobials including tylosin, chloramphenicol, oxytetracycline (OTC). The analysis samples revealed they contained 3antibacterial drugs OTC its metabolite (4-epi-OTC). statistical obtained also relationship between presence samples, isolates derived content higher than maximum residue levels (MRL) found be same antibiotic. confirms importance integrating sustainable practices veterinary field strict commitment monitoring bacterial foods animal origin before marketing them, protect effectiveness for future generations.
