Extreme poverty remains a persistent issue in Indonesia, particularly Central Buton Regency, despite numerous government initiatives. Efforts to alleviate have yet yield substantial results, with significant disparities between rural and urban areas. This study aims assess the impact of community empowerment programs on reducing extreme Indonesia. Using qualitative descriptive design, data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation involving individuals living officials managing alleviation programs. The analyzed using statistics thematic analysis, findings validated source triangulation. results indicate that play crucial role poverty, though there are discrepancies expected actual outcomes. Further research is needed explore long-term these reduction region.
