Based on panel data of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China from 2011 to 2022, this paper empirically examines the impact digitalization inputs outputs agricultural production process, thereby derives effects mechanisms by which empowers growth green total factor productivity. The study finds that rural areas’ significantly improves productivity, promotion mainly comes improvement technical efficiency. Further analysis shows reduces land input labor input, increases expected output, undesired output during process achieve an indicating has altered allocation factors. Heterogeneity effect productivity is more pronounced eastern regions, southern areas with higher levels digitalization, development exacerbates gap among regions.

This study endeavored to analyze the progress made meet Sustainable Development Goals in terms of resource use, sustainable production and consumption, triple planetary crisis (i.e., climate change, biodiversity loss, pollutant emissions) at national regional levels Asia. The highlighted that toward consumption is still not sufficient ambitious targets. An urgent need for a comprehensive approach address emissions, use has been ascertained. China’s greenhouse gas emissions have surged tremendously. India also endeavoring decouple from growth via renewable energy. Vulnerable Pakistan seeks emission reduction financial aid. Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam outline strategies. Land change emerges as key loss driver, stressing land policies conservation. Material highlights call optimization, circular economies, innovative technology. Energy’s role development requires decoupling through efficiency, renewables, eco-friendly paths. Freshwater needs careful management sustainability, international collaboration policy reform are urged global water efficiency. Decoupling trends between growth, environmental impact show complex pattern, with feasibility absolute limited by interdependence.

Water and fertilizer management in sustainable agricultural development needs to balance crop yield, quality, soil ecological environment. Therefore, we conducted trials with nine treatments over two growing seasons 2020 2021. The included the three irrigation levels W1 (75% Ep), W2 (100% W3 (125% Ep) fertilization F1 (758.44 kg/hm2), F2 (948.05 F3 (1137.66 kg/hm2) a N/P/K ratio of 2:1:3. net photosynthetic rate (Pn) gradually decreased plant period, was significantly (*) affected by at flowering fruiting stages. chlorophyll content increased 43.75% from vine stages 12.50% mature stage, reaching maximum following application. W2F2 most effective promoting total dry mass (TDM) during Irrigation, interaction exerted highly significant effect on fruit quality yield. Soluble solids performed best under W1F1, while free amino acid reached W3F2. Moreover, water use efficiency amount, maximized W1F3. At same level, nitrate N available P exhibited an increasing then decreasing trend K all growth Structural equation models yield formation were established based co-occurrence analysis. Pn indirectly regulated melon TDM (0.87) (***), identified as important direct factor affecting melon. Furthermore, residues composition through efficiency. This study indicates that practices for are essential improve arid semi-arid regions, contribute reducing risk contamination production.

Given its status as the largest water-using sector, it remains pivotal to enhance water usage efficiency within agricultural sector safeguard resources. The main goal of Integrated Agricultural Water Pricing Reform (IAWPR) is encourage conservation and foster sustainable development. Nonetheless, achieving progress in agriculture necessitates a dual focus: not only on exploitation resources but also upholding welfare population. impact policy farmers' straightforward requires scientific verification. To this end, study focuses new relationship between IAWPR income, exploring underlying mechanism broaden economic benefits IAWPR. In addition, combining multi-phase Difference-in-Differences (DID) biennial Malmquist-Luenberger (BML) productivity index overcomes limitations traditional measurement methods. results indicate that has significant positive farmers, leading 31.9% increase even more pronounced non-farm sector. Furthermore, primarily operates through enhancing green total factor (AGTFP), where technological change (TC) serves principal driving improvements efficiency.

China faces multiple pressures on productivity enhancement, ecological protection and livelihood improvement, how to reconcile these objectives is an important consideration in the choice of strategies for agricultural green development. In this study, we try propose a comprehensive approach consider development from system dynamics perspective, which aims identify synergies trade-offs among under different scenarios National Pilot Zones Green Development Agriculture China, Xuzhou City Nanping are selected as two target areas. The research demonstrates that modeling can effectively facilitate strategic choices decision-makers. There upward trends terms improvement index, gross food production, farmers’ income pilot zones, achieve overall synergy before 2030, although trade-off relationship between production environmental protection. Furthermore, transformation index based could guide choices. economically prosperous zones has leading level transition scenario (reaching 83.76 surpassing other scenarios), shows greater potential prioritize high-quality Meanwhile, business-as-usual less-developed city highest 97.61 indicating need supportive policies maintain process. brief, decisions should be structural characteristics goals system, with emphasis both short-term progress long-term trends.
