permanently
changed
(79.7%).

Background:
Much
of
the
literature
related
to
mental
health
focuses
on
identifying
risk
factors
and
predictors

health.

health-promoting
orientation,

Abstract
Objectives
There
is
growing
evidence
of
intergroup
hostility
between
vaccinated
and
unvaccinated
individuals,
a
process
polarization
that
threatens
to
derail
population
health
efforts.
This
study
explores
the
moral
underpinnings
antipathy
individuals.
Design
A
cross‐sectional
design
was
employed
investigate
associations
view
vaccination
as
social
contract
or
individual
choice,
perceived
vulnerability
disease,
perceptions
outgroup
morality,
feelings
warmth,
experiences
schadenfreude.
Methods
Data
were
extracted
from
an
online,
quantitative
survey

2022.
Results
revealed
people
had
stronger
negative
attitudes
towards
than
vice
versa.

with
hypotheses,

immoral.

seeing
choice

warmth
