Body condition may be an important additional tool for ecological studies. However, this information is still lacking many arachnids such as scorpions. In addition, sex can considered a determining factor in the body of individuals since it present differences lifehistory traits. Thus, we evaluated litter-dwelling scorpion Tityus pusillus Pocock, 1893. For this, 88 (44 by sex) were used, where following parameters measured: size, fresh, dry, lipid and muscle mass. Our results showed that females have significantly higher values than males all measured. Differences life-history traits between sexes, foraging activity reproductive investment directly related to these findings. Finally, our suggest possess environmental requirement maintain condition.
