Abstract This article conducts a systematic mapping and inductive analysis of existing work related to hydrogen energy policy in the Web Science Core Collection from 1996 7 July 2023. First, based on bibliometrics, research reveals publication volume trends, influential contributors (countries, authors, organizations journals). Second, bibliometric content were applied vividly demonstrate evolution topic, discuss leading topics, provide valuable insights into issues that deserving appropriate attention future. The unequivocal role policies supporting development is undeniable. In future, focal point should be concentrated stimulating creation demand for green hydrogen, necessitating effective evaluation outcomes ensuring safety energy. Furthermore, application scope extends beyond transportation sector, holding potential expansion other high carbon‐emitting domains. With strengthening international collaboration energy, considerations justice fairness are poised become pivotal factors cooperation, exerting profound influence attainment long‐term environmental sustainability. These critical directions will shape future landscape serve as an essential resource policymakers, researchers, stakeholders this domain.

Purpose This study aims to explore the association among financial resources, renewable energy, environmental degradation and technological innovation in BRICS economies. Design/methodology/approach To estimate long-run impacts between these variables, AMG method of estimation, which incorporates cross-sectional reliance slope homogeneity, is adopted this research. Findings According empirical findings, coefficients show a statistically significant negative impact on sources energy. Furthermore, 1% increase reduces 0.32% energy Whereas only coefficient GDP shows positive demonstrates that economic growth causes 0.02% incline Therefore, strong policy recommendations are provided encourage green utilization Originality/value The majority participating nations have inexpensive labor an abundance resources from nature, strengthens their appeal. Given population still quite conservative, presents chance for per capita expand significantly.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore the determinants influencing industrial adoption green hydrogen amidst global transition towards sustainability. Recognizing as a pivotal clean energy alternative for applications critical understanding its potential integration into sustainable practices. Design/methodology/approach This research examines impact factors such innovativeness, perceived ease use, user comfort, optimism and governmental policies on intention usage. Using responses from 227 Indian industry professionals conducting analysis via SmartPLS software, reveals discernible discomfort among workers pertaining daily application hydrogen. Findings presents an array policy recommendations stakeholders. Emphasized strategies include introduction certificates, public procurement mechanisms, tax incentives, labelling protocols establishment dedicated skill development council, all which can significantly influence trajectory within sector. Originality/value synthesizes various elements, perception challenges implications, presenting holistic view hydrogen’s role in decarbonization SDG realization. In essence, deepens not only empirical but also pioneers fresh theoretical frameworks, setting precedent subsequent academic endeavours.
