The integration of a renewable energy and hybrid storage system (HESS) into electrified railways to build an electric railway smart microgrid (ERSMS) is beneficial for reducing fossil fuel consumption minimizing waste. However, the fluctuations generation traction load challenge effectiveness management such complex system. In this work, strategy proposed which firstly decomposes low-frequency high-frequency components by integrated empirical mode decomposition (IEMD). Then, two-stage distribution approach utilized appropriately distribute flow in ERSMS. Finally, feasibility solution are validated through case study.

This article presents a review of renewable energy systems in Latin America, highlighting recent advances aimed at transforming electricity markets to make them more environmentally sustainable.
