This study investigates the application of advanced simulation and modeling technologies to optimize performance reliability renewable energy systems. Given urgent need combat climate change reduce greenhouse gas emissions, integrating sources into existing infrastructure is essential. Using bibliometric methods, our research spans from 1979 2023, identifying key publications, institutions, trends. The analysis revealed a significant annual growth rate 16.78% in interest modeling, with notable surge published articles, reaching 921 2023. indicates heightened activity interest. Our findings highlight that optimization, policy frameworks, management are central themes. Leading journals like Energies, Energy, Applied Energy play roles disseminating research. Key also emphasize importance international collaboration, countries China, USA, European nations playing roles. three-field plot demonstrated interconnections between keywords, revealing terms “renewable sources”, “optimization”, “simulation” discourse. Core funding agencies, such as National Natural Science Foundation China (NSFC) Union, heavily support this underscores policies sustainability indicators promoting technologies. These insights for ongoing innovation interdisciplinary collaboration achieve sustainable future.

Abstract This study uses the novel Fourier-augmented ARDL (FARDL) to explore impact of renewable energy (REN), number patent applications (PA) and GDP per capita on CO 2 emissions in Finland during 1990–2022. The findings reveal that long run, rises emissions, while REN PA decrease emissions. FARDL short-run results indicate both have a significant negative suggesting higher adoption technological innovation contribute emission reductions. However, does not show effect short which may decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation term. Furthermore, highlights need for policies promote increased investment achieve sustainable carbon reduction

Northeast China, a traditional heavy industrial base, faces significant carbon emissions challenges. This study analyzes the drivers of in 35 cities from 2000–2022, utilizing machine-learning approach based on stacking model. A model, integrating random forest and eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) as base learners support vector machine (SVM) meta-model, outperformed individual algorithms, achieving coefficient determination (R2) 0.82. Compared to methods, model significantly improves prediction accuracy stability by combining strengths multiple algorithms. The Shapley additive explanations (SHAP) analysis identified key drivers: total energy consumption, urbanization rate, electricity population positively influenced emissions, while sulfur dioxide (SO2) smoke dust average temperature, humidity showed negative correlations. Notably, green coverage exhibited complex, slightly positive relationship with emissions. Monte Carlo simulations three scenarios (Baseline Scenario (BS), Aggressive De-coal (ADS), Climate Resilience (CRS)) projected peak 2030 under ADS, lowest fluctuation (standard deviation 5) largest reduction (17.5–24.6%). Baseline indicated around 2039–2040. These findings suggest important role de-coalization. Targeted policy recommendations emphasize accelerating transition, promoting low-carbon transformation, fostering urbanization, enhancing sequestration China’s sustainable development achievement dual-carbon goals.

Abstract The ecological footprint (EF) has a complex relationship with several key factors, including economic growth, nuclear energy, urban population, and renewables. scope of this paper is to analyze the effect renewables (REN), GDP per capita, urbanization (URB), energy (NUK) on EF by means ARDL model for Finland Japan. long-run estimated coefficients are validated supplementary tests, such as FMOLS, DOLS, CCR. While Japan share similarities in education, technology, quality life, they differ significantly geography, population density, cultural practices, structure, historical backgrounds. main results indicate that long term, REN NUK exhibit negative impact EF, while URB positive Finland. Additionally, REN, URB, exert exerts ECT − 1.96 indicates very fast strong correction towards equilibrium following any short-term disturbances. Furthermore, an 1.01 adjustment its long-term disturbances caused changes GDP, or NUK. Our research proposes some policy implications both economies. Its contributions enhance understanding relationships between sources, urbanization, environmental impact, providing guidance sustainable development policies.

As modern technologies, particularly home assistant devices and sensors, become more integrated into our daily lives, they are also making their way the domain of energy management within homes. Homeowners, now acting as prosumers, have access to detailed information at 15-min or even 5-min intervals, including weather forecasts, outputs from renewable source (RES)-based systems, appliance schedules current balance, which details any deficits surpluses along with quantities predicted prices on local market (LEM). The goal for these prosumers is reduce costs while ensuring home’s comfort levels maintained. However, given complexity rapid decision-making required in managing this information, need a supportive system evident. This true routine nature decisions, highlighting potential that provides personalized recommendations optimize consumption, whether involves adjusting load engaging transactions LEM. This study focuses on deforestation, a key aspect of the current environmental decline linked to worldwide economic development and increasing populations. It examines how renewable energy consumption (RENC), GDP per capita, urbanization (URB) foreign direct investments (FDI) have influenced expansion forest areas (FAG) in Romania from 1990 2022, utilizing an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model Bayer–Hanck cointegration approach. The main results paper are following: has positive statistically significant long-term influence FAG; URB FDI negative impact RENC is not determinant FAG. In short term, 1% increase leads 809.88% decrease FAG, while first second 323.06%, 216.26% suggests that as more land developed for urban use (like building homes, businesses, infrastructure), immediate consequence reduction area available forests. effect indicates strong inverse relationship between availability forests term. Our underscore importance sustainable strategies, including green planning robust conservation, offset adverse effects increased Romania’s emphasizing need careful strategic policies balance growth with protection.
