Territorial spatial planning serves a primary instrument for optimizing the utilization of production, living, and ecological spaces (PLEs), significantly influencing on social, economic, sustainability. The correlation aligns with objectives outlined in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within 2030 Agenda Development. To comprehensively grasp impact territorial SDGs, particularly how changes land use types functions shape sustainable development, our study employed data encompassing SDG scores across 31 provinces China from 2000 to 2015. Utilizing Spearman coefficients, we meticulously examined relationship between PLEs SDGs. Our findings illuminated that based function (PLEs-LF) wield more substantial influence SDGs compared those grounded proportion (PLEs-LUT). former exhibited synergistic or trade-off relationships 16 whereas latter demonstrated associations 14 underscoring importance concurrently considering both space sustainability research. Moreover, positive living social poverty reduction, health, gender equality, contrasts function, which exhibits trade-offs. economic realm manifests no significant synergy production Additionally, it is imperative not overlook preservation fostering development oceans while simultaneously terrestrial diversity. research imparts valuable insights, developing countries like China, facilitating effective implementation practices providing guidance governance planning.

As the fourth pole of China's economic growth, Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration plays a significant role in reinforcing ecological barrier upper reaches Yangtze River, and is crucial for environmental protection strategies. In this paper, Google Earth Engine (GEE) MODIS images from 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2022 were utilized to construct Improved Remote Sensing Ecological Index (IRSEI) characterize quality more accurately than RSEI. Additionally, combined with nighttime light remote sensing data, land use data socio-economic GDP sub-industry spatialization model was analyze urbanization process depth. To dynamically monitor evaluate interaction between environment quality, coupling coordination incorporating above methods developed. The results show that (1) effective information IRSEI analysis increased by 3.26% compared RSEI, correlation each index higher; (2) peaked 2005 has been declining since then, rate decline gradually slowing down 2022; (3) suitable characterizing scattered villages, can effectively exhibit process. From 2000 2022, rapidly developed, level core cities such as Chengdu Chongqing far exceeded those neighboring cities; (4) generally increased, indicating ongoing improvements synergy agglomeration. This study developed method quickly monitoring assessing relationship using model, provides scientific analytical support governing emerging agglomerations.

There is less than half the time left to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and progress toward SDGs obviously insufficient. The contribution of ecosystem services (ES) realization has received extensive attention, but systematic generalization recognition are still lacking. Based on a review challenge sustainable development, this study summarized ES's potential 17 SDGs, systematically reviewed empirical researches focused based RepOrting standards for Systematic Evidence Syntheses (ROSES). results found that from 1960s 2020s, gradually become more important in development. ES all different varies. In study, SDG2, SDG6, SDG13, SDG15 were strongly focused. SDG4, SDG5, SDG10, SDG16, SDG17 weakly Most explored supply at single scale, with lacked attention demand scale differences, insufficient intervention factors affecting SDGs. Faced above deficiencies, future research could deepen exploration following four perspectives: clarifying true contributions, exploring leverage point, integrating multi-scale focusing factors.

Understanding the dynamic relationship between ecosystem service supply and urbanization demand, identifying underlying influencing mechanisms are crucial for sustainable development in global process. However, current studies mainly focused on coupling coordination of situation, rather than system. Thus, we introduced concept degree (DCCD) to address research gap. This study calculated rates composite index (ESSCI) demand (UDDCI) from 2000 2020 construct DCCD model case Yangtze River Delta region. Subsequently, analysed inherent causing regional differences DCCD. Our results indicated that (1) ESSCI UDDCI showed spatiotemporal heterogeneity, rate had significant north south, decreased east west. (2) In 2020, notable existed northern southern region, with zone being lower. The situation improved 2005 2015. (3) Global habitat quality a impact coordination. north, annual water yield significantly influenced coordination, while carbon sequestration it. These factors related land use. We into old achieve goals.
