Rural landscapes are experiencing ecosystem degradation due to urbanization and rapid suburban expansion. Ecosystem services derived from natural resources essential public facilitated by social capital collectively address the growingly diverse ecological requirements of rural residents. Even so, often trade-offs, highlighting necessity enhance their coordinated development. However, it remains unclear how use identified thresholds delineate functional zones. This will scientifically guide sound efficient spatial planning management. study takes countryside Jiangning in Nanjing as area. It explores inclusion threshold value strategic design sustainable development China. First, we quantify map six types (ESs) 13 (RPSs). Secondly, piecewise linear regression method identify response RPSs kinds ESs. Finally, combination classification values used divide areas, space-specific management suggestions put forward. The results follows (1) With increase RPSs, all ESs respond with a downward trend. (2) In addition negative relationship between education welfare ESs, other were identified. (3) According multiple density analysis each RPS’s four areas obtained. We emphasize priority management, that is, “ESs enhancement area optimization area”. (4) can be tools zones areas. general, our research helps ensure maximization benefits while also meeting growing diversity needs residents enabling efficient, phased, gradient, precise ecosystems promote realize revitalization.

The ecosystem services (ESs) and landscape patterns (LPs) in a region have marked impact on human production life even play an important role the achievement of regional Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Given limited consideration LPs ESs SDGs current research, it is especially crucial to provide comprehensive targeted policy support for sustainable development less developed areas from environmental perspective. Utilizing Lincang National Innovation Demonstration Zone as case study, we evaluation index system at county level City. This was established based extensive field surveys, visits, data collection conducted with local government departments relevant organizations between 2021 2022. Our study found that there significant spatial heterogeneity relationship or each county. Therefore, regulation optimization should not adopt one-size-fits-all approach; rather, measures be implemented specific SDGs. Additionally, dual-factor interaction enhancement explaining SDG. implies promoting synergy can effectively drive certain Overall, this provides critical scientific decision-making references governments realization construction more beautiful Lincang. With the acceleration of global urbanization, ecosystem services (ES) and ecological balance nature reserves have been significantly impacted. However, quantitative assessments multiple contributions to urban sustainability are still lacking. This study selects Panjin, a wetland city in China (3788 km2), as area, utilizing InVEST model quantify ES (water yield, carbon storage, soil retention, habitat quality), employing redundancy analysis explore influencing factors. Ecological source areas were identified, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) score was calculated systematically evaluate contribution reserves. The results indicate that from 1990 2010, built-up area Panjin increased by approximately 159%, leading reduction quality 20%, 4%, 14%, respectively. From 2010 2020, restoration policies resulted 63% increase compared 2010. Nature played crucial role maintaining stability, providing over 40% while occupying only 24% city’s contributing more than 30% overall sustainability. is first assess sustainability, management recommendations for policymakers based on innovative environmental indicators methods support sustainable development.
