Urban park green spaces (UPGS) are essential resources for improving the urban ecological environment and meeting residents’ recreational needs. However, during rapid urbanization, layout of UPGS often exhibits spatial inequity, with significant differences in enjoyed by resident groups different socioeconomic attributes. Various spatial indices have been used by scholars to evaluate the built environment of towns. However, previous analysis has fallen short in systematically addressing distribution green space future town planning. This paper fills gap integrating an expanded urban intensity framework and comparing existing conditions (2018) planning schemes (2030) eleven towns Zhejiang Province, China. In this paper, we computed ARCGIS FRAGSTATS, correlation STATA for statistical analysis, adopted demographic, economic, environmental variables validate selected indices. The results show that: (1) can result either reduction spaces centers or uneven spaces; (2) Validation indicators reveals observable association with normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), which implies that chosen effectively reflect condition greenery; (3) regulatory detailed does not always improve layout towns, especially after considering distributions.
