In this study, S-methyl derivatives of dithiocarbamates (DTCs) were found to significantly enhance the chemiluminescence (CL) between Ce(IV) and efficient, environmentally friendly nitrogen-doped carbon dots (N-CDs). Based on elucidation CL mechanisms, an innovative approach high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with N-CDs materials detection (HPLC-CDCL) was first proposed. The developed method successfully applied highly sensitive determination three kinds DTCs fungicides (dimethyl dithiocarbamate, ethylene bisdithiocarbamate propylene bisdithiocarbamate) in tea. recovery established ranged from 70.51% 116.45% relative standard deviations below 9.40%. limit (S/N=3) as low 0.19 µg/L (as CS2), which is superior previous methods comparable UPLC-MS/MS. Moreover, present free solid phase extraction offers excellent selectivity. This study puts forward a novel idea for food safety environmental field.

Gadolinium functionalized carbon dot complexes (Gd-CDs) have both the fluorescent properties of dots and magnetic characteristics gadolinium ions, exhibiting excellent biocompatibility, high spatial resolution, sensitivity, deep tissue penetration in bioimaging. As fluorescence (FL) resonance imaging (MRI) probes, Gd-CDs attracted significant attention dual-modal biological imaging. This review summarizes recent advances Gd-CDs, focusing on their structure, optical properties, applications First, according to different existing forms dots, structures are categorized into chelation, electrostatic interaction, encapsulation. Second, mechanisms performances introduced detail. The reported a maximum quantum yield 69.86%, with emission wavelength reaching up 625 nm, optimum longitudinal transverse relaxivity rates 35.39 115.6 mM-1 s-1, respectively, showing FL/MRI capacities. Subsequently, progress cellular imaging, vivo integrated cancer diagnosis therapy is reviewed. Finally, challenges issues faced by development summarized, providing new insights for controlled synthesis widespread application biomedical field
