This study presents the predicted hydrodynamic characteristics of different rudder plane configurations on stern a full-scale submarine in deep water, which are obtained using Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes method Ansys Fluent Solver. First, results for X-rudder configuration verified according to previous numerical and experimental order assess accuracy simulation procedure. The plane, Y-rudder Cross-rudder water with deflection angles ranging from −21 degrees +21 then simulated. Next, forces moments Cross-plane, X-plane, Y-plane through analyzed Taylor’s expansion estimate coefficients. demonstrate that X-force X-plane is larger than corresponding acting Cross-plane configurations. Meanwhile, Y-force Z-force significantly greater left same tendency can be seen moment about y- z-axes. However, roll induced by under configuration.
