Abstract Meat consumption is growing steadily. As with any research, meat investigation requires an overall view of the study field to identify current directions and reveal prospective trends. Background: Plant-based meat (PBM) takes up ever-increasing market shares and draws great attention from both customers retailers these days. However, little is known about the nutritional quality of PBM products. Objective: This study intended to profile evaluate overview nutrition with equivalent products on Hong Kong market. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey 274 151 27 different brands in October 2022. The differences between were assessed using analysis covariance (ANCOVA) two independent sample t-test.
