ABSTRACT Solar energy in urban areas due to excessive air conditioning usage buildings may significantly reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. This study uses TRNSYS undertake thermal performance analysis solar‐driven vapor absorption cooling systems for several cities Pakistan with varying climatic conditions. Two separate solar collectors—flat plate collector (FPC) and evacuated tube (ETC)—are used simulate system. The system's is evaluated based on fraction (SF) primary savings. results simulation showed that ETC would be a better choice regarding selection as system achieved higher SF saving (). ranges from 13% 78% 64% FPC, respectively. 75% 93% 96% flat ETC, For both ETCs, increasing area increased savings while capacity storage decreased volumes, varies very little when using but ETC. best was recorded Peshawar SFs saving.
