Multiple cyclones working in series are sufficient for heavy separation tasks at the cost of significant energy consumption. The majority researchers conducting optimization studies on multiple have attempted to find best possible compromise between pressure drop and collection efficiency by optimizing geometry cyclones. In a departure from this approach, we report novel design. Using proposed method, exit gas is divided into dirty clean inserting secondary vortex finder (SVF) primary (PVF) previous cyclone. flows succeeding cyclone, whereas passes over cyclone directly device farther behind. Methodologically, performance was tested experimentally, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations were employed. Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) turbulence Discrete Phase (DPM) used simulate turbulent two-phase flow within gas–solid separator, capturing three-dimensional, transient, characteristics flow. Our test results showed that new configuration clearly reduces consumption while not hindering overall efficiency. A techno-economic analysis is performed on the negative CO2 emission gas power plant (nCO2PP) vs combined cycle turbine (CCGT) with carbon capture and storage (CCS). In nCO2PP it can be distinguished following three islands: fuel preparation, generation separation capture, respectively.
