Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, progressive, systemic autoimmune disease. While triptolide (TPL) and curcumin (CUR) are known to have multiple beneficial effects on RA, the combined effect of TPL CUR remains unexplored. Bone infection is a disease that seriously affects patients’ quality of life and physical health. Traditional treatment methods have many drawbacks. Hydrogels loaded with Chinese Medicine (TCM), as an emerging strategy, combine the advantages good biocompatibility hydrogels, adjustable drug release performance, multi-target synergistic TCM, showing great application potential.
