Nitrification inhibitor is essential for increasing the nitrogen utilization efficiency of agricultural plants, thus reducing environmental pollution and crop yield. However, easy volatilization limited functional property still bottleneck nitrification inhibitors. Herein, a novel water-soluble polymeric was synthesized through copolymerization acrylamide bio-based acrylic acid, which from biomass-derived furfural, complexation carboxyl groups 3,4-dimethylpyrazole. The results showed that an amorphous polymer product with glass transition temperature 146 °C thermal decomposition 176 °C, content 3,4-dimethylpyrazole reached 2.81 wt%, 115% higher than our earlier (1.31 wt%). can inhibit activity ammonia-oxidizing bacteria effectively, inhibiting conversion ammonium to nitrate converting insoluble phosphate into soluble absorbable phosphate. By introducing copolymer structure strong flocculation capacity, further endowed soil-loosening function, increase porosity soil improve environment. Therefore, be used in liquid fertilizers, as well high tower melting granulated compound fertilizers.

The presence of excessive algae in water is always considered as a negative factor irrigation. However, the optimal balance between algal removal and retention irrigation when biomass controllable remains unknown. Therefore, this study explores impact low-level (Scytonema javanicum) on soil microbial activity through controlled column experiments. Soil moisture was measured, 16S rRNA gene amplicons sequencing applied to characterize community. Slight community changes indicated no local S. javanicum. Enzyme assays quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) revealed that improved retention, enhanced nutrient content topsoil. decrease treatment group (from 27.53% 26.42%) significantly reduced (p < 0.05) compared control 27.55% 25.17%), while contents ammonium (NH3-N) total nitrogen (TN) (0.70 mg/kg 0.54 g/kg) were also higher than (0.43 0.49 g/kg). results abundance functional suggested facilitated fixation nitrification. This research offers innovative insights for diversifying sources water.
