Farmers are the primary decision-makers in chemical fertilizer application. Identifying their reduction behavior and its influencing factors is critical to controlling surface source pollution caused by excessive fertilizer. This paper incorporates farmer characteristic, technology cognition social capital into analytical framework of farmers' behavior. Based on 889 questionnaire data, this constructs a Structural Equation Model analyze from perspective differentiation. The findings as follows. (1) Farmer characteristics, all positively influences Among them, has highest degree influence behavior, followed while shows lowest influence. (2) effect small-scale pure insignificant. However, part-time farmers large professional significant, higher for farmers. (3) characteristics (4) farmers, significant. Accordingly, continuously promote reduction, government should focus strengthening policy support, technical education guidance classification.

Tomatoes are a globally cultivated and popular vegetable. The output quality of tomatoes significantly influenced by the use organic fertilizers. It was discovered that fertilizers increase tomato productivity improve fruit quality. influence on yield is shown to be complex dependent soil matter, total nitrogen, kinds, other variables. In this review paper, we evaluated 769 data sets from 107 research papers determined can enhance 42.18%. Compared control group, soluble solids, sugar, lycopene, vitamin C, nitrate were raised 11.86%, 42.18%, 23.95%, 18.97%, 8.36%, respectively. general, matter >20 g·kg−1 improved sugar/acid content ratio VC, whereas under nitrogen >1 g·kg−1, had significant differences in with different organic-fertilizer types having effects When comparing animal plant forms fertilizers, observed varied significantly. We also impact cultivation methods, pH, results gave valuable information direction for greenhouse production.

Abstract The soil microbiota is critical to plant performance. Improving the ability of plant-associated probiotics thus essential for establishing dependable and sustainable crop yields. Although fertilizer applications may provide an effective way steering microbes, it still unknown how positive effects soil-borne can be maximized their are mediated. This work aims seek ecological mechanisms involved in cabbage growth using bio-organic fertilizers. We conducted a long-term field experiment which we amended with non-sterilized organic or sterilized either containing Trichoderma guizhouense NJAU4742 lacking this inoculum tracked fungal community. -amended fertilizers significantly increased biomass effect was attributed changes resident community composition, including increase relative abundance number indigenous growth-promoting taxa. specifically highlight fundamental role biodiversity population density these plant-beneficial taxa improving growth. Together, our results suggest that beneficial seem combination biological within amendment as well indirect promotion through on diversity composition microbiome.

Abstract Converting crop residues into biochar and subsequently incorporating it soils is a promising strategy to improve carbon sequestration in agroecosystems. However, differences the potential mechanisms for soil organic (SOC) accumulation between its feedstock materials remain unclear. This study performed nine-year field experiment involving four treatments Mollisol: mineral fertilizers alone combined with maize straw or biochar, control without amendments. The main objectives of this were assess how incorporation influence SOC content, chemical composition, microbial necromass (MNC) community characteristics. Compared alone, significantly ( P < 0.05) increased while (40.5% increase) had more pronounced effects than (23.7% increase). Similarly, both MNC content boosted biomass, but impact did biochar. Additionally, markedly aromaticity by 26.6% 0.05), reduced 2.85% > 0.05). Fungi, rather bacteria, played crucial role increasing through their inputs under incorporation. Our results demonstrated that enhanced primarily entombing effect necromass, biochemical protection from recalcitrant aromatic carbon. present findings provide valuable insight practices lead maximize sequestration. Soil microorganisms play vital roles in energy flow and soil nutrient cycling and, thus, are important for crop production. A detailed understanding of the complex responses microbial communities to diverse organic manure chemical fertilizers (CFs) is crucial agroecosystem sustainability. However, little known about response fungal nutrients CFs, especially under double-rice cropping systems. In this study, we investigated effects application combined CFs various fertilization strategies, such as no N fertilizer (Neg-CF); 100% (Pos-CF); 60% cattle (CM) + 40% CF (high-CM); 30% CM 70% (low-CM); poultry (PM) (high-PM), PM (low-PM) on communities' structure diversity, environmental variables, rice yield. Results showed that synthetic plus addition significantly increased fertility grain yield compared sole CFs' application. Moreover, changed community relative abundance fungi phyla Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, Mortierellomycota, Rozellomycota. The abundances dramatically differed at each taxonomic level, between manured non-manured regimes. Principal coordinates analysis (PCoA) exhibited greater impacts amendments than distributions. Redundancy dominant were positively correlated with pH, C (SOC), total N, biomass C, was strongly affected by SOC. Network explored positive relationships could increase their adaptability relevant environments. addition, structural equation model (SEM) shows relationship biomass, nutrients, SEM contents availability directly affect yield, while indirectly through production levels. Our results suggest altered biochemical traits counteracted some adverse fertilizer. Overall, findings research integrated a better approach improving health
