Abstract Pathogenic microorganisms and dyes are the main sources of water pollution. These pollutants extremely hazardous may harm aquatic life human health. As a result, removing these is critical in assessing contamination risks mitigating potential health hazards. To effectively remove pathogenic from wastewater, an efficient multi-functional material was designed based on AgI, Ag NPs, NPs@AgI immobilized bamboo fabrics as support substrate. The disinfection aptitude modified evaluated against different microorganisms. results showed that NPs@AgI@bamboo excellent antibacterial activity S. aureus (88%) E. coli (90%) well perfect antifungal C. albicans (82%). Methylene blue (MB) used pollutant model to test catalytic photocatalytic fabrics. show highly MB dye via reduction after 60 min or photodegradation (93%) 6 h UV light irradiation. pseudo-first-order kinetic study shows possessed outstanding degradation activities toward MB.
