Photocatalysis technology has been shown to be a promising and effective method for solving the growing energy environmental challenges through use of solar energy. In this work, Ce2S3 semiconductor photocatalysts decorated with small amounts reduced graphene oxides are successfully synthesized by hydrothermal calcination methods. The Ce2S3-RGO nanocomposite shows outstanding photocatalytic performance on degradation tetracycline (TC). combination RGO significantly promotes separation photon-generated carriers. rate TC achieves 76% under visible light, which is 2.5 times over pure sample. addition, series characterizations demonstrate that introduction expands light absorption range increases number active sites. This work introduces pivotal role oxide in field offers novel insights reasonable construction composite photocatalysts.
