Scheelite and calcite minerals contain similar calcium-active sites, leading to a mutual transformation upon dissolution of surface components. At the same time, traditional oxide ore collector lacks selectivity, it is difficult separate two by flotation. This study investigated selective adsorption mechanism tetrasodium iminodisuccinate (TI) during flotation separation scheelite calcite. The behavior both was analyzed through single-mineral artificially mixed-mineral experiments. results revealed that with addition TI concentration 5 × 10-4 mol/L as depressant, exhibited recoveries 88.69% 13.81%, respectively. indicates selectively depressed achieved an effective separation. undergoes in slurry solution, generating anions sodium ions. anion groups are adsorbed on mineral surface, negatively changing zeta potential surface. likely due coordination reaction between carboxylate ions Ca sites forming COO-Ca species. Moreover, increased signal intensity characteristic ion COOH- dense layer clustered peaks. molecules onto (104) creating hydrophilic film significantly reduced hydrophobicity. effectively realizes calcium-containing minerals, research development environmentally friendly organic depressant focus future research.
