Abstract MXene‐based nanocomposite materials with other 2D have made a large impact in the field of energy storage, particularly area supercapacitors. Combining conductive MXene materials, such as transition metal oxide, dichalcogenides, and layered double hydroxide, improves electrochemical storage properties resulting nanocomposites. The interface allows an improved performance for applications. In this review, state‐of‐the‐art research progress 2D/2D synthesis, structural morphological properties, supercapacitors is explored. nanocomposites terms specific capacitance, energy, power densities, stability are discussed.
