In this study, manganese selenide/copper oxide nanocomposites anchored on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MnSe/CuO/MWCNTs) were fabricated with different ratios and their characteristic properties evaluated. Microscopic images show the decoration of CuO MnSe without changing morphology. UV–Vis analysis indicates that best optical MnSe/CuO/MWCNT nanomaterials via 2.06 eV as a band gap energy. The photocatalytic ability was evaluated by decomposition rhodamine B (RhB) (97.23%) malachite green (MG) (100.0%) under visible LED irradiation within 45 min. Furthermore, antibacterial activity prepared nanosamples investigated against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus strains. results MnSe/CuO/MWCNTs can be used stronger agent.

Carbon-based nanomaterials (CBM) have shown great potential for various environmental applications because of their physical and chemical properties. The unique hybridization properties CBMs allow the tailored manipulation structures morphologies. However, owing to poor solar light absorption, rapid recombination photogenerated electron-hole pairs, pristine carbon materials typically unsatisfactory photocatalytic performances practical applications. main challenge in this field is design economical, environmentally friendly, effective photocatalysts. Combining carbonaceous with semiconductors different results carbon-based catalysts, which offers a promising approach achieving efficient application. Here, we review contribution dimensions, catalytic removal organic pollutants from wastewater by catalyzing Fenton reaction processes. This review, therefore, aims provide an appropriate direction empowering improvements ongoing research work, will boost future contribute overcoming existing limitations field.
