Noctiluca scintillans, known as a global red tide species, is common species found in Pingtan Island. To examine the bacterial community structure different environments during period of N. scintillans on Island, samples were collected from Algal Bloom Area (ABA), Transition (TA), and Non-Algal (NBA) 6 April 2022, environmental physicochemical factors determined. Pseudoalteromonas species are recognized for their probiotic roles in reducing pathogens aquaculture products by secreting a broad range of antimicrobial compounds. Some species, like P. piscicida, also predators that attack susceptible prey bacteria, including V. parahaemolyticus, transferring outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) containing digestive compounds to the surface prey. These digest holes prey's cell wall releasing nutrients upon which feed. In present study, scanning electron microscopy was performed on two piscicida strains grown sterile seawater and nutrient-enriched seawater, without presence bacterial prey, determine if or low-nutrient media required induce vesicle formation. Micrographs revealed OMV formation high pleomorphism absence cells regardless nutrient levels seawater. Phenotypic characteristics included (i) vesiculated non-vesiculated (ii) large bulbous versus small OMV, (iii) pilus-like connectors widely varying lengths were attached, (iv) highly elongated (10 µm long) cells, (v) appeared extend 50 long be septating dividing into short chains individual cells. The possible contribution these novel phenotypes predation is discussed.

Abstract Vibrio species are an emerging public and animal health risk in marine environments the opportunistic bacterial pathogen harveyi is a major disease for tropical aquaculture. Current understanding of virulence V. limited by strain-specific variability complex host-pathogen dynamics. This study sought to integrate genomic investigation, phenotypic characterisation vivo challenge trials barramundi ( Lates calcarifer) increase our virulence. We identified two hypervirulent isolates, Vh-14 Vh-15 that caused 100% mortality fish within 48 hours, were phenotypically genotypically distinct from other isolates. Virulent isolates contained multiple plasmids, including 105,412 bp conjugative plasmid with type III secretion system genes originally Yersinia pestis . In addition, we observed effect temperature on indicators activity at 28°C 34°C compared 22°C. suggests fluctuations associated climate change may act as stressor bacteria, increasing gene host adaptation. Vibrio anguillarum threatens fish and larval farming industries human health worldwide. The identification of bacterial adaptation responses to stress due environmental changes is vital for establishing a response strategy pathogenic Vibrio. Previously, short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) was identified on chromosome II the multichromosomal V. anguillarum.
