The simultaneous sorption behaviors of four analytes from the UV filters group, benzophenone (BPh), 4-methylbenzylidene camphor (4MBC), 3 (BPh3), and 2 (BPh2) on virgin aged high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a particle size 125 μm in milliQ river water were examined this study. aging processes HDPE particles carried out use simulated sunlight. Conducted research revealed that follows pseudo-second-order kinetics. A Temkin isothermal model best described adsorption process for 4BMC, BPh, BPh3, BPh2 water, 4MBC, BPh3 water. onto MPs was consistent Langmuir model. Environmental conditions physicochemical properties influenced mechanism between particles. It observed main mechanisms responsible surface are hydrophobic interactions, may change through involvement electrostatic interactions.
