Achillea wilhelmsii (AW), a plant rich in flavonoids, including lutein, apigenin, rutin, and phenolic compounds with antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal properties, is used traditional medicine. In this study, the impact of AW extract on growth, immune response, biochemical indices rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was investigated. Over 8 weeks, fish were fed diets supplemented varying concentrations (0%, 0.5%, 1%, or 2%). No significant differences observed growth performance, glucose levels, key enzymes such as lactic acid dehydrogenase, alanine transaminase, aspartate aminotransferase (AST) between AW-supplemented groups control group. However, that received supplementation showed significantly higher levels total serum protein, lysozyme activity, superoxide dismutase (SOD) immunoglobulin M (IgM). Moreover, AW-fed exhibited lower mortality after exposure to Yersinia ruckeri. conclusion, could enhance function decrease Y. Therefore, using (1% 2%) aquaculture be justified means increase resistance pathogens improve system performance fish.
