G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) represent one of the most functionally diverse classes transmembrane proteins. GPCRs and their associated signaling systems have been linked to nearly every physiological process. They also constitute 40% current pharmacopeia as direct targets remedial therapies. Hence, place a functional nexus in interface between pathophysiological processes suggests that may play central role generation all types human disease. Perhaps mechanism through which can mediate this pivotal function is control molecular aging It now appreciated that, indeed, many disorders/diseases are induced by GPCR pathological aging. Here we discuss such novel member family, GPR19, an important new target for strategies The pathways (metabolic control, circadian rhythm regulation stress responsiveness) with recently characterized receptor suggest aging-related disease etiology.

Smoking contributes to the formation of skin wrinkles and reduces function, but mechanism is not yet fully proven. This study aims compare analyze effects smoking on lipids further investigate harmful skin. A total 40 subjects (20 male smokers 20 healthy control males) were recruited for this study. Measurement hand skin-surface (SSLs) in groups was undertaken using ultra-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS). Multivariate data analysis used differences SSLs between two groups. There 1230 detected significant SSLs’ composition observed them. Under selected conditions, 26 types lipid with (p < 0.05). Sphingolipids (SP) glycerolipids (GL) significantly increased, sterol (ST) reduced. causes changes that disrupt homeostasis, making more fragile susceptible aging diseases.

Abstract Ultra-processed foods (UPFs) and their nutritional value have become a trending topic in the scientific community because of increasing demand, potentially adverse effects on human health. Besides poor attributed to UPFs, countless studies also reported presence different dietary oxidized substances these meals. DOxS are associated with several chronic diseases such as cardiometabolic (CMD), cancer, diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s disease. In this study, database other metabolites detected 63 UPFs meals part Western diet is reported. Significant differences were found phytosterol contents between ready-to-eat fast food (FF). Putative biomarkers suggested for RTE (brassicasterol) FF (7α-OH 7β-OH), well all 6 categories: dairy (brassicasterol), eggs & derivatives (stigmasterol β-sitosterol), meat poultry (7α-OH), seafood, baby (β-sitosterol), others (campesterol). Ideally, use could help future identify an early stage diseases, even, prevent development. Nevertheless, exposure assessment critical understand level relationship diseases.
