This research examines how Holistic Building Design (HBD) affects Lifecycle Management of Structures in the ever-changing construction market. HBD includes adaptability, environmental sustainability, maintenance, and disaster preparation. It is a key idea present boom resilient sustainable building techniques. A surprising dearth quantitative empirical on HBD's impact LMBS considering field's growing importance. study uses method to explore relationship between essential components outcomes especially Extended Service Life (ESL) Optimized Performance Value (OPV) are critical factors address this information gap. The polled 171 industry professionals utilized Structural Equation Modelling examine data. approach was selected for its ability complex relationships variables constructs. Adaptability Retrofitting (AAR), Environmental Considerations Sustainability (ECS), Maintenance Inspection Programs (MIP), Resilience Disaster Preparedness (RDP) profoundly influenced Enhanced elements LMBS. adaptation retrofitting, maintenance inspection programs, other activities increased value lifespan. These findings have major theoretical practical implications. work potentially fills gap by providing actual evidence HBD-LMBS linkages. Practically, results advise specialists use ideas management. Finally, our illuminates vital roles paves way ecologically friendly approaches.

Building bridges sustainably is essential for advancing infrastructure development and ensuring long-term environmental, social, economic viability. This study presents a framework that integrates risk management strategies Information Modeling (BIM) with Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) standards to enhance bridge project sustainability. Through targeted survey, the evaluates risks across lifecycle phases, identifying main processes significantly impact Using Pareto Principle, prioritizes these associated risks, guiding creation of improvement guidelines aligned ISO 9001:2015, BIM, LCSA standards, which support high quality efficiency. The results reveal 38 55 identified account 80% impact, they include majority those derived from international underscoring their significance in sustainability efforts. Additionally, 36 47 are subject vital highlighting phases like Construction Supervision as priority areas intervention. By linking specific each process within outlines strategic measures, focused approach sustainable aligns maximizes outcomes.

Purpose The paper clarifies research gaps and future directions in building information modeling (BIM) by analyzing trends publication patterns. It aims to (1) systematically categorize the vast array of BIM literature into coherent main topics, (2) identify most least explored areas (3) propose for based on identified gaps. Design/methodology/approach This study uses Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method manage large datasets uncover hidden patterns academic journals conference articles. To clarify scholarly focus, topics are categorized three groups: primary moderately investigated topics. Findings findings revealed 10 (MTs) 57 subtopics (STs), identifying key such as project design management (20%), innovative construction technology (14%) sustainable construction/life cycle (14%). Conversely, it also highlighted underexplored like Facility/safety urban data development, suitable research. Research limitations/implications While this work provides a structured overview domain, reveals opportunities further exploring complexity interrelation among interdisciplinary Originality/value novelty is its extensive scope, over fifteen thousand articles from 2013 2023, which significantly expands scale previously reviewed. comprehensive approach maps shows hierarchical trend line publications each topic, setting benchmark studies.
