Abstract Industry 5.0 (I5.0) marks a transformative shift toward integrating advanced technologies with human-centric design to foster innovation, resilient manufacturing, and sustainability. This study aims examine the evolution collaborative dynamics of I5.0 research through bibliometric analysis 942 journal articles from Scopus database. Our findings reveal significant increase in research, particularly post-2020, yet highlight fragmented collaboration networks noticeable gap between institutions developed developing countries. Key thematic areas identified include human-robot collaboration, data management security, AI-driven sustainable practices. These insights suggest that more integrated approach is essential for advancing I5.0, calling strengthened global collaborations balanced emphasis on both technological elements fully realize its potential driving industrial provides first comprehensive offering valuable researchers practitioners.

Review studies are critical in all knowledge domains to benchmark the state-of-the-art at a given point time and identify possible future research directions. Due fragmented ever evolving nature of construction industry, field engineering management (CEM) is growing exponentially. Researchers across world publishing reviews CEM body this has become large significant. While considering literature as separate class research, there been no attempt date analyze document publication trends summarize methods approaches being utilized drafting these reviews. Moreover, documented reference that tracks or highlights concentration scarcity various sub-domains research. Following PRISMA protocol, systematic review (SLR) aims existing chart growth interest researchers A total 549 were obtained from Scopus database, 20 December 2024, based on relevance, accessibility, other inclusion exclusion criteria adopted for review. Bibliometric analysis shows an exponential annual with Australia, China, US, Hong Kong, UK leading growth. According metrics, journal Automation Construction published largest number CEM. Reviews focusing applications robots, automation, digital technologies constitute about 52% Part employed models ChatGPT data extraction shortlisted articles, therefore risk bias was minimized by using tool simple tasks only.
