ABSTRACT With the increasing prevalence of knee osteoarthritis (KOA), limitations traditional treatments, such as their limited efficacy in halting disease progression and potential side effects, are becoming more evident. This situation has prompted scientists to seek effective strategies. In recent years, exercise therapy gained prominence KOA treatment due its safety, efficacy, cost‐effectiveness, which underpinned by molecular actions exerkines. Unlike conventional therapies, exerkines offer specific advantages targeting inflammatory responses, enhancing chondrocyte proliferation, slowing cartilage degradation at level. review explores mechanisms involved application prospects provides a comprehensive analysis role. Studies show that appropriate not only promotes overall health, but also positively impacts stimulating exerkine production. The effectiveness exerkines, however, is influenced modality, intensity, duration exercise, making development personalized plans crucial for patients. Based on these insights, this paper proposes targeted strategies designed maximize benefits, aiming provide novel perspectives prevention treatment.
