(1) Background: With the emergence of various super bacteria, interest in antibacterial properties, drug delivery, and wound regeneration is increasing field surgical materials. There are many studies on sutures, but not recent ones that have studied structurally subdivided functions. Accordingly, sutures were classified based main functions considered important, conducted by categorizing latest production technology into 3D printing electrospinning. (2) Methods: Data from literature (n = 1077) collected databases such as PubMed, Harvard.edu, MDPI, Google Scholar, Web Science, ACS, Nature, IOP Publishing. The selected 103 papers divided two groups: cutting-edge characteristics technologies for manufacturing sutures. (3) Results: Cutting-edge four major categories: antibacterial, biodegradability, regeneration, examined depth. In addition, final electrospinning printing. (4) Conclusions: results this study can contribute to development multifunctional promote through elution, biodegradability.
