Digestate is commonly used as a liquid organic fertilizer, it contains nutrients that are important for plant growth and thus help reduce usage of mineral fertilizers. Since the digestate application leads to release greenhouse gases (GHGs) into atmosphere, necessary find suitable method fertilizer rate with minimal gas emissions while providing sufficient crops. The aim this study was investigate relationship between selected GHGs ammonia (NH3) atmosphere different rates applied, i.e., 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 m3 ha−1. Two incorporation methods were used, disc unit (D) strip-till (S). fluxes, methane (CH4), ammonia, carbon dioxide (CO2), monitored using wind tunnel method. Crop potential nutrient utilization by silage maize assessed through stand condition monitoring Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Water (NDWI) remote sensing. Under given conditions, compared had significant effects on level fluxes. confirmed affect yield maize. increased more than 8% when applicator. The article examines the influence of six varieties primocane raspberries, Rubus idaeus L., on growth parameters and energy properties biomass. unique aim this study was to show impact raspberry varieties, grown for a single harvest, bushes emission characteristics biomass obtained from pruned canes. To best our knowledge, there is no such analysis connected raspberries available in literature. following were assessed: Polana, Polesie, Delniwa, Poemat, Polonez, Poranek. Among studied Polana characterized by highest number side shoots greatest sum shoot lengths, while Polonez variety average length thickness. In tested weight per hectare varied significantly, ranging 6.06 t Poranek 9.05 Delniwa variety. It shown that had significant higher heating value (HHV) lower (LHV). lowest found (HHV—17.32 MJ·kg−1; LHV—16.07 MJ·kg−1) (HHV—17.33 MJ·kg−1, LHV—16.19 significantly observed (HHV—17.63 LHV—16.39 MJ·kg−1). assessment total volume exhaust gases showed parameter Polesie (6.89 m3·kg−1), with (6.69 m3·kg−1).

The growing global concern over sustainability has driven the food industry to shift its focus from merely disposing of waste transforming it into resources. This transformation is a result technological advancements time that have enabled industries repurpose what was once considered waste. review emphasizes systematic exploration interconnections between strategies, technologies, and types byproducts contribute overarching goal reducing It discusses both advantages limitations current offering insights their implications for safety, economic feasibility, environmental sustainability. Key categories are also examined assist development targeted more effective byproduct management strategies. Eventually, journey towards zero needs be interpreted as an effort minimize involves all components supply chain. Setting targets solely on achieving “zero landfill” standard indicates industry’s continued reliance environmentally taxing practices like landfilling incineration, highlighting limited viable eco-friendly alternatives. Collaboration among manufacturing industry, government, public, scientists facilitate implementation further potential strategy achieve sustainable processing.

Sewage sludge was treated with nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) to enhance biogas and methane (CH4) production, the influence of key parameters on material’s anaerobic digestion (AD) efficiency analyzed using sigmoidal mathematical models. In this study, three dosages nZVI (0.5%, 1.5% 3%) were added system accelerate decomposition process. The results showed that cumulative yield after 41 days increased by 23.9% in reactor a dosage 1.5%.
