Acute pancreatitis remains a serious public health problem, and the burden of acute is increasing. With significant morbidity complications, appropriate effective therapies are critical. Great progress has been made in understanding pathophysiology over past two decades. However, specific drugs targeting key molecules pathways involved still require further study. Natural compounds extracted from plants have variety biological activities can inhibit inflammation oxidative stress by blocking several signaling pathways, such as nuclear factor kappa-B mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways.
