Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a significant global health concern. Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection as well long non-coding RNA (lncRNAs) associated EBV infection, have been linked to OSCC development and are known influence cancer progression. LINC00944 with various cancers immune cells, but its role in oral remains underexplored. This study investigated the of EBV-induced impact on tumor microenvironment. The expression was analyzed from database head neck (HNSCC) tissues, EBV-positive EBV-negative lines examined via qRT-PCR. We overexpressed SCC25 ORL-48T evaluated migration invasion ability using wound healing transwell experiments. Additionally, we studied macrophage differentiation. results showed that higher HNSCC than normal tissues lines. overexpressed-OSCC significantly increased cellular motility invasiveness. secreted cultured medium, delivered macrophages, promoted differentiation into M1 subtype. Predicted interactions suggested targets miRNAs regulate NFKB1 RELA. In conclusion, contributes progression by enhancing migration, invasion, differentiation, potentially regulating these processes through These findings provide valuable directions for LINC00944’s future studies mechanisms suggest it could be target EBV-associated OSCC.
