At present, taking into account the sustainability of starting matrices, biogas production industry is continuously growing, especially in consideration ecological transition and circularity. The present study deals with development anaerobic bioreactors aimed at valorizing two specific wastes olive oil supply chain, i.e., residual protein hydrolysis process three-phases pomace (OP-PH) that recovered after extraction bioactive molecules from mill wastewater (OMWW waste). energy consumed for varied 0.52 kJ (OP OMWW waste) to 0.97 (OP-PH), while produced OP, OP-PH OMMW waste was equal 1.73, 2.94 1.60 kJ, respectively. optimal period defined by considering only range showing higher than its consumption. According this, showed best performances, since it required 9 days (instead 12 untreated treated OP) reach completion. efficiency three-phase calculated period, days, other samples, a yield 76.7% quantity potentially producible corresponding 1727.8 kJ/kg volatile solids. These results pave way possible applications this procedure planning multi-purpose biorefinery fed by-products chain waste, thus promoting use sustainable materials circular economy perspective.
