In this research, different seeds of Australian-grown date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) were studied to evaluate the antioxidant potential and analyze their phenolic constituents. Phenolic compounds extracted from various varieties at ripening stages. Eight (Zahidi, Medjool, Deglet nour, Thoory, Halawi, Barhee, Khadrawy, Bau Strami) three stages (Kimri, Khalal, Tamar) investigated in study. Date Khalal (9.87-16.93 mg GAE/g) Tamar (9.20-27.87 showed higher total content than those Kimri stage (1.81-5.99 GAE/g). For assays like DPPH, FRAP, ABTS, RAP, FICA, TAC, also stage. However, (55.24-63.26 TE/g) expressed radical scavenging activity (13.58-51.88 (11.06-50.92 characterized using LC-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS, revealing presence 37 compounds, including 8 acids, 18 flavonoids, 11 other compounds. Further, quantified LC-DAD, that Zahidi variety exhibited highest during contrast, stages, nour Medjool displayed concentrations The results indicated an increase after stage, with significant variations observed among varieties.

Abstract Date palm pits are highly available and inexpensive date by‐products, representing a valuable source of natural antioxidants, particularly phenolic compounds. pit extract (DPPE) was prepared from these waste products characterized for its content in vitro antioxidant activity. Profiling DPPE by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC/MS) showed the presence dimers trimers (epi)catechin as main constituents. The date palm has been cultivated in dry and hot areas of the planet for much human history. In Kingdom Saudi Arabia, dates are main crop used as a source food. Among several species fruits, Ajwa AL-Madinah is unique, growing only Al-Madinah geographical region. traditional medicine due to its abundant active components therapeutic properties. This study investigates structural properties antioxidant effects water-soluble polysaccharides extracted from flesh seed. were isolated by two techniques including water ultrasonic extraction. After isolation partial purification, physicochemical four samples seed studied FTIR, solid-state NMR, elemental analysis, mass spectrometry. Several radical scavenging experiments combined activity polysaccharide compounds. FTIR NMR results showed structure typical heterogeneous polysaccharides. Mass spectrometry revealed that composed mainly mannose, glucose, galactose, xylose, arabinose, galacturonic acid, fucose. addition, composition compared. activity, with 2, 2′-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) scavenging, Fe chelating ability, hydroxyl free 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging.
