Utilization
of
deep
eutectic
solvents
(DESs)
to
extract
lignin
is
a
highly
attractive
strategy
for
biomass
upgrading.
Although
acidic
DESs
have
been
extensively
investigated,
alkaline
(ADESs)
rarely
applied
in
extraction.
Herein,
several
promising
ADESs
were
prepared
dissolution
and
pretreatment.
Lignin
solubility
showed
good
positive
correlation
with
the
Kamlet–Taft
parameters
basicities
ADESs.
Notably,
highest
alkali
(AL),
enzymatically
hydrolyzed
(EHL),
kraft
(KL),
dealkaline
(DAL)
could
reach
49.85,
49.46,
53.14,
53.17
wt
%
at
60
°C,
respectively.
Importantly,
efficiently
remove
(80.9–97.8%)
from
corn
stover
120
significantly
improving
enzymatic
efficiencies
residues
(71.5–85.4%).
Besides,
relatively
intact
structures
or
fragments
low
molecular
weight
dispersion
be
successfully
generated.
These
results
confirmed
great
potential
