Abstract This research aimed to study on nanocellulose production from palm bunch using process design and cost analysis. Choline chloride based deep eutectic solvent pretreatment was selected for high-purity cellulose separation at mild condition, followed by nano-fibrillation mechanical treatment. Three types of choline chloride-based solvents employing different hydrogen-bond donors (HBDs) namely lactic acid, 1,3-butanediol oxalic acid were studied. The optimal extraction condition chloride/lactic (ChLa80C) empty 80 °C bleaching yielding 94.96%w/w content in product. Size reduction ultrasonication high-pressure homogenization produced 67.12%w/w raw material. Different morphologies tunable the forms nanocrystals, nano-rods nanofibers dissimilar solvents. work offered a sustainable environmentally friendly as well provided analysis DES overview operating production. Application fabrication highly functional biodegradable material nanomedicine, electronic, optical, micromechanical devices is achievable near future.

Abstract The current review article investigates the potential for producing highly valuable items solely from agricultural wastes treated with deep eutectic solvents (DES). A thorough explanation of DES s’ reaction mechanism and biomass‐treating capabilities is provided, shedding light on how green pretreatment methods can be applied to in order form high‐value products. In view that, influences crucial properties like viscosity, density, recycling ability are well analyzed. This article's next goal compile most recent developments years 2018–2023 DES‐based valorization into a range products, including biogas such as biohydrogen, liquid biofuels bioethanol butanol, platform chemicals reagents that followed by novel materials. discussion criticalities prospective avenues further research concluded paper. For this reason, having grasp product value one paper will very helpful readers.

Abstract The pulp and paper industry generates large quantities of Pulping Black Liquor (BL). Minimizing the chemical content in BL through effective environmentally friendly treatment methods is therefore essential. contains a substantial amount highly heterogeneous lignin, which has complex structure broad molecular weight distribution. Only small fraction this lignin used as dispersant, concrete additive, or binder mining operations, while majority fuel source. Solvent fractionation inhomogeneous with solvents offers promising solution to overcome these limitations. fractionated more controlled uniform structure, facilitating its high-value applications reducing environmental impact BL. This reviews conversion BL, various for separation, recent advances use commonly such methanol, ethanol, acetone, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, ionic liquids fractionation. A novel solvent-based approach from proposed.
