Coastal saline-alkali areas represent a huge under-exploited land and water resources. Due to the high salinity, there exists great discrepancy between benefits derived from cultivation of agricultural crops cost in terms manpower material Mud crab Scylla paramamosain can survive wide range making it an excellent aquaculture specie crop-fish co-cropping coastal areas. However, detailed research concerned with economic ecological efficiencies remained unclear. This study investigated effect stocking density S. salt-tolerant rice on benefits, physiochemical parameter, as well microecological change. By elaborate management cropping, together comprehensive investigation influence paddy soil, microbial community alteration, functional gene dynamics, we found that under appropriate 6000 ind/ha generated highest net profit, which is more than 9-fold higher monoculture. Besides, nutrient inflow increased environmental burden densities. Microbial composition structure altered shown by 16S amplicon sequencing soil samples. Functional chips confirmed carbon, nitrogen, sulphur, phosphorus cycle genes contributed function. proposed new salt tolerant rice-mud integrated culture mode, customized for underdeveloped areas, will be helpful promote sustainable development.

ABSTRACT Crevice corrosion and products were observed during the maintenance of a carbon steel cooler repeatedly treated with commercially produced anticorrosive coating. This prompted case study to investigate possible microbially influenced (MIC) in system operating at moderate temperatures treated, chlorinated cooling water. Cooling water, products, sediments, swabs analyzed for microstructural, chemical microbiological characteristics. The water contained sufficient nutrients support microbial growth, along chlorides that could compromise material integrity. Chemical analysis revealed elevated sulfur levels, suggesting activity. Molecular‐genetic showed significant abundance sulfur‐oxidizing, nitrate‐reducing, sulfate‐reducing, methylotrophic bacteria products. Our results indicate synergistic activity these was primary cause MIC system, despite use treatments, highlighting need revise mitigation strategy.

Coaxial bioreactors are known for effectively dispersing gas inside non-Newtonian fluids. However, due to their design complexity, many aspects of and function, including the relationship between hydrodynamics bioreactor efficiency, remain unexplored. Nowadays, various numerical models, such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) artificial intelligence provide exceptional opportunities investigate performance coaxial bioreactors. For first time, this study applied machine learning both classifiers regressors, predict torque generated by a bioreactor. In regard, 500 CFD simulations at different aeration rates, central impeller speeds, anchor rotating modes were conducted. The results obtained from used train test models. Careful feature scaling k-fold cross-validation performed enhance all models’ prevent overfitting. A key finding was importance selecting right features model. It turns out that just knowing speed bioreactor, mode can be labelled with perfect accuracy using k-nearest neighbors (kNN) or support vector Moreover, regression multi-layer perceptron, kNN, random forest, examined impellers. showed forest model outperformed other Finally, analysis indicated most significant parameter in determining value.
