Endophytes, microorganisms inhabiting internal plant tissues, play a pivotal role in growth and disease resistance. Moreover, previous studies have established that Musa plants derive protective functions from their microbiome. Notably, one of the crop wild relatives banana, Calcutta 4 variety, exhibits resistance to various phytopathogens such as Pseudocercospora fijiensis (P. fijiensis), while Williams commercial cultivar (cv.) is highly susceptible. Therefore, this study aims primarily characterize compare endophytic microbiota composition banana when grown sympatrically. Alongside, differences microbiome between sections (shoot or roots), phases (in vitro greenhouse) fitness factors addition growth-promoting bacteria Bacillus subtilis EA-CB0575 (T2 treatment) infection by P. (T3 were examined. Both culture-dependent -independent techniques used evaluate these assess culturability endophytes under varying conditions. Microbial cultures resulted 331 isolates distributed across 54 genera all treatments evaluated, whereas 16 S sequencing produced 9510 ASVs assigned 1456 genera. Alpha beta diversity exhibited significant based on section, with an increase phylogenetic observed pathogen (T3) compared control (T1). Additionally, four differentially abundant associated nitrogen metabolism identified T3 seven showed differential abundance comparing varieties. When methods compared, it was found represented 3.7 % detected culture-independent methods, accounting for 12-41 total data depending treatment. These results are crucial proposing management strategies derived enhance resilience susceptible varieties against affecting development. they help decipher pathogenic effects advance understanding how domestication influences endosphere.

In order to solve the problem of low and poor straw degradation in typical black soil areas Northeast China, present study was carried out screen potential situ strains with cellulose ability from soils China play a role resourceful utilization development sustainable agriculture. The evaluated by combining sodium carboxymethyl plate screening cellulase viability assay; species identification morphology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology; basic medium formulation optimized Box–Behnken response surface methodology. Ten cellulose-degrading were identified: ZL-5, ZL-69, ZL-88, ZL-95, ZL-111, ZL-137, ZL-139, ZL-140, ZL-187, ZL-216, which ZL-139 had highest production capacity, secretion 7.8781 U/mL enzyme-producing medium. identified as Bacillus cereus; best glucose—4.284 g/L, yeast extract—1.454 MgSO4—0.417 KH2PO4—0.5 K2HPO4—1.5 NaCl—1.0 g/L. conclusion, strain has good for crop can be candidate straw-rotting agent northeast promising prospects utilization.
