Metal-organic framework (MOF) derived spherical porous carbon (SPC) has potential application value in the field of adsorption and sustained release nitroimidazole drugs. This work used MIL-53(Fe) as a precursor prepared 3-aminophenol-formaldehyde resin containing crystals using advanced Stöber method, followed by successful preparation SPC (MSPC) with structure both micropores mesopores through high-temperature carbonization. The effects doping amount on sphericity particle size MSPC were investigated. drug uptake capacity performances for metronidazole (MNZ) ornidazole (ONZ) assessed batch tests, along an investigation into impact varying pH levels performances. experimental findings revealed that loading MNZ ONZ onto achieved 111 120 mg/g, respectively, time up to 24 h. process adhered Langmuir isotherm model conformed pseudo-second-order kinetics model, whereas mechanism was consistent Korsmeyer-Peppas model. Furthermore, cytotoxicity cyclic experiments indicated exhibited good biocompatibility stability. Therefore, this study provides new ideas development carriers.

Various industries generate a large amount of wastewater, which contains soluble organic compounds that can seriously jeopardize the environment and human health. Therefore, new photocatalytic materials with function efficiently degrading pollutants have become research hotspot. In this research, bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) core-satellite structure were prepared through simple one-pot method in presence polyvinylpyrrolidone structure-directing agent crystal size. Also, synergy adsorption-catalytic properties MOFs was achieved via interaction aluminum iron groups. Meanwhile, type I heterojunction based on MIL-53(Al@Fe)-OH realized effective separation photogenerated carriers. Under synergistic degradation, degradation efficiency methylene blue (MB) nearly 100% after adsorption (of 2 h) photocatalysis h), removal rate MB still reached 90.43% five cycles. This study provides strategy for construction MOF structures efficient adsorption-catalyzed environmental pollutants.

Abstract Biodegradable (green) materials have been gained momentous attention and extensively used for environmental restoration as a result of recent legislations. The current study involved treating Pithecellobium dulce seed pod (PSD) powder with acetic acid to look examined the possibility using treated P. (PD) remove Reactive Red 195-A from its aqueous solution. material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermo gravimetric (TGA). Different constraining factors, such dye concentration, temperature, contact time, solution pH, sorbent dose were batch adsorption trials. Further, Freundlich Temkin, alongside Langmuir equations employed analyze different isotherms. results showed that Temkin isotherm found be validated experimental findings on RRD prepared adsorbent. exposed adsorbing process tailed pseudo-second order kinetic model, demonstrated correlation coefficient R 2 greater than 0.90. According thermodynamic investigations, endothermic took place spontaneously. suggested PD plant might cheaper substitute chemical adsorbents dyes.
