Slow-release fertilizer is generally used in turfgrass management to maintain quality turf without inducing excess vertical growth, avoid frequent mowing. This study was designed verify whether kitchen waste digestate and biochar could serve as slow-release fertilizers promote reduce nutrient leaching risk two species over years controlled pot experiments. The results showed that the release of granular made from a two-phase process (an initial rapid phase, followed by phase). higher nitrogen phosphorus ratios than sheep manure. Compared reference manure, fertilization with increased leaf chlorophyll content 48.6% 27.9%, reduced senescent leaves 15.6% 11.1%, respectively, at 23 d after fertilization, leading quality. Fertilization significantly compared Our demonstrated potential reusing for promoting management.
