Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons and accumulation alpha-synuclein. Glutathione (GSH), key antioxidant, significantly depleted in PD patients. This study presents dual-mode detection strategy for selectively determining GSH using single probe. A series "turn-on" electrochemical fluorescent probes were developed, with resorufin (Re) serving as reporting unit featuring specific recognition sites. Among these, 7-(3,5-dinitrophenoxy)-3H-phenoxazin-3-one (Re-DNP) probe was selected its high selectivity both Its response to superior comparison that observed hydrogen sulfide (H2S) cysteine (Cys). For screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE)/carbon nanotube (CNT) modified electrodes, limit 5 μM, linear range 25-500 μM. In fluorescence detection, produced 78-fold increase emission at 630 nm presence GSH, strong correlation between intensity concentration 10-700 2 When applied real clinical serum samples, demonstrated lower levels mice human patients compared healthy controls. method provides sensitive accurate tool potential applications understanding GSH's role related diseases.

Biothiols play essential roles in maintaining normal physiological functions, resisting oxidative stress, and protecting cell health. Establishing an effective reliable sensor array for the accurate quantification discrimination of diverse biothiols is extremely meaningful. In this work, Ag/Mn3O4, Ag3PO4, Ag3Cit with excellent oxidase-mimetic activity surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-enhanced features have been prepared loaded onto Whatman filter paper (WFP) to build SERS chips as three sensing channels, which can induce 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) oxidation SERS-active reporters (TMBox) concurrently generate prominent signals. Rapid and ultrasensitive detection of pathogen-associated biomarkers is vital for the early diagnosis therapy bacterial infections. Herein, we developed a close-packed ordered Au@AgPt array coupled with cascade triggering strategy surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) colorimetric identification Staphylococcus aureus biomarker micrococcal nuclease (MNase) in serum samples. The trimetallic nanozymes can catalyze oxidation 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) molecules to SERS-enhanced oxidized TMB (oxTMB), accompanied by color change from colorless blue. In presence S. aureus, secreted MNase preferentially cut nucleobase AT-rich regions DNA sequences on magnetic beads (MBs) release alkaline phosphatase (ALP), which subsequently mediated oxTMB reduction inducing colorimetric/SERS signal fade away. Using this "on-to-off" strategy, target be recorded wide linear range limit 38 CFU/mL mode 6 SERS mode. Meanwhile, MNase-mediated characterized high specificity sensitivity successfully discriminated between patients sepsis (n = 7) healthy participants 3), as well monitored prognostic progression disease 2). Overall, benefiting highly active dense "hot spot" substrate, response dual-signal output, methodology will offer promising avenue infection.
