Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have been shown to be great alternatives traditional porous materials in various chemical applications, and they very widely studied for biomedical applications the past decade specifically drug storage. After our review published 2011 [Keskin Kızılel, Ind. Eng. Chem. Res. 2011, 50 (4), 1799–1812, 10.1021/ie101312k], we witnessed a fast growth not only number variety of MOFs but also their usage across broad spectrum fields. With recent integration molecular modeling data science approaches experimental studies, significantly accelerated positioning them as pivotal components regenerative medicine, medical imaging, diagnostics. In this review, visited diverse considering computational efforts on storage delivery, bioimaging, biosensing. We focused underlying mechanisms governing interactions between biological systems discussed both opportunities challenges field highlight potential advanced therapeutics cancer neurological diseases.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder and significant cause of dementia in elderly individuals, with growing prevalence our aging population. Extracellular amyloid-β peptides (Aβ), intracellular tau proteins, their phosphorylated forms have gained prominence as critical biomarkers for early precise diagnosis AD, correlating progression response to therapy. The high costs invasiveness conventional diagnostic methods, such positron emission tomography (PET) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), limit suitability large-scale or routine screening. However, electrochemical (EC) analysis methods made progress detection due sensitivity, excellent specificity, portability, cost-effectiveness. This article reviews the EC biosensing technologies, focusing on protein blood (a low-invasive, accessible medium). then discusses various sensing platforms, including fabrication processes, (LOD), clinical potential show role these sensors transformers changing face AD diagnostics.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) protects neurons by inhibiting the expression of factors related to neuronal injury in nervous headache patients. The development rapid and sensitive IL-6 detection methods will be very advantageous for easing pain such In this work, an immobilization-free immunodetection method is explored voltammetric screening serum samples from Initially, methylene-blue-encapsulated liposomes (MBLS) labeled with anti-IL-6 antibodies are confined capture antibody-coated microplate through a sandwich-type immunoreaction, subsequently subjected lysis treatment. After that, lytic solution transferred into cell including Nafion-modified working electrode. Methylene blue molecules positive charge captured on negatively charged Nafion membrane, thus generating signal. peak currents relative amount solution. Under optimized experimental situations, MBLS-based split-type electrochemical sensing protocols have acceptable 0.01 100 pg mL-1, allow at concentration as low 9.1 fg mL-1. batch-to-batch coefficients variation were ≤11.95%. Good anti-interference capability was achieved against other biomolecules. Seven human specimens two diluted obtained patients determined immunoassay, well-matched results comparison those ELISA protocol.
