The debate on the possibility of economic growth improving quality environment has yet to reach a consensus. To contribute this debate, we investigate validity Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis for oil-producing countries in Africa based annual data from 1991 2019. We also examine causal relationship between environmental and growth. panel autoregressive distribution lag (PARDL) technique Granger non-causality test were employed. findings show evidence an inverted U-shaped long run, indicating EKC hypothesis. It was observed that energy prices exert strong, deteriorating effects short run. In renewable consumption significantly improve environment. causality results demonstrate unidirectional concluded policies aimed at these could be beneficial will prove only when is level where declining, since improves quality.

Policymakers and academics are interested in identifying mechanisms that promote environmental sustainability due to their relationship with climate change. This research evaluates the channels transmit effect of technology financial efficiency on quality. The is moderated by real production per capita, foreign direct investment, natural resource rents, institutional quality context Environmental Kuznets Curve. covers 1996–2021 period for a sample 88 economies classified into three groups according World Bank Atlas Method. We use second-generation cointegration techniques structural breaks quantile regression models. findings offer sufficient evidence conclude impact heterogeneous throughout distribution. Our suggest more associated maximizing than mitigating or restoring deterioration. A policy implication derived from our encourage generation carbon-free upper-middle-income countries achieve sustainability.

This study employs provincial panel data from China spanning 2012–2021, utilising the entropy weight method and spatial Durbin model to analyse agricultural economic resilience through lens of green finance. Key findings reveal: (1) National levels are rising steadily, with a shift Eastern Region Central Region. (2) Green finance (GF) development displays an initial decline followed by upward trend, mirroring trends. (3) GF positively impacts resilience, 0.0325% increase for every 1% rise. (4) exhibits significant positive spillover effect, enhancing surrounding regions’ 0.3098% per increase. (5) GF’s influence on differs regionally, stronger in East than West. We propose strategies enhance rural systems, energy‐efficient innovations regulatory frameworks foster regional cooperation ultimately bolster resilience. research offers valuable insights developing nations.
