The composition of the biogas produced in Afyon power plant is approximately as follows: 55% CH4 (methane) - 40% CO2 (carbon dioxide)- 4.5% H2O (water) and trace amounts other components. methane used gas engines to generate electricity. Carbon dioxide, however, increases greenhouse emissions when released into atmosphere. model designed this study includes liquefaction storage technoeconomic analysis process. was performed Aspen Plus software, which widely complex processes involving numerious chemical reactions. According results thermodynamic analysis, energy efficiency, exergy net electrical liquid production rate were determined 14.92%, 13.08%, 4,000 kW 99 kg/h, respectively. unit electricity cost, flow cost TCC (total capital cost) are 77.5 $/MWh, 993.68 $/h 47,548,200 $ has potential prevent release atmosphere at reasonable prices.
