Circadian rhythms are governed by a biological clock, and known to occur in variety of physiological processes. We report results on the circadian rhythm heart rate observed using wrist-worn wearable device (Fitbit), consisting over 17,000 individuals course 30 days. obtain an underlying from time series modeling as sum first two Fourier harmonics. The harmonic accounts for approximate 24-hour rhythmicity body while second non-sinusoidal perturbations. From diurnal modulation rate, we following parameters: (i) amplitude modulation, (ii) bathyphase, (iii) acrophase. also consider activity show that most individuals, lags activity. widespread availability smartwatches trackers may enable who interested observing their numerous parameters, measure longitudinal changes parameters response various health-related variables such diet, sleep, exercise, or illness.
