In recent years, the progressive escalation of climate change scenarios has emerged as a significant global concern. The threat to food security posed by abiotic stresses such drought, salinity, waterlogging, temperature stress (heat stress, freezing, and chilling), high heavy metal accumulation is substantial. implementation any these on agricultural land induces modifications in morphological, biochemical, physiological processes plants, leading diminished rates germination, growth, photosynthesis, respiration, hormone enzyme activity disruption, heightened oxidative ultimately, reduction crop productivity. Soybeans, one of the most valuable crops worldwide, are annually decimated by soybean cyst nematode (SCN), Heterodera glycines, resulting in massive losses yields and economic revenue. Conventional agricultural pesticides generally effective short term; however, they pose growing threats to human environmental health; therefore, alternative SCN management strategies urgently needed. Preliminary findings show that phenolic acids significantly induced during infection exhibit nematocidal activities vitro. However, it is unclear whether these effects occur planta or elicit any negative on plant growth traits. Here, we employed a phytochemical-based seed coating application seeds using acid derivatives (4HBD; 2,3DHBA) at variable concentrations examined inhibition against two types. Moreover, also traits under non-infected infected conditions. Notably, 2,3DHBA inhibited abundance Race 2-infected plants with increasingly higher chemical doses. Interestingly, neither compound negatively affected control SCN-infected plants. Our suggest approach could offer an effective, more environmentally friendly solution facilitate current fast-track development biopesticides sustainably manage devastating pests such as SCN.

The seed industry plays a crucial role in global food production but it faces persistent challenge ensuring the health and quality of seeds, particularly those tomato pepper which represent key commodities on market. Seeds can serve as potential pathways for introduction dissemination seed-borne bacteria, may have devastating effects crop yield, farmers’ remunerability, security. Therefore, fungicides other antimicrobial compounds are extensively used to disinfect thus increasing input chemicals agri-environment. In this review, we address aspects that connect disease epidemiology with infection health, including contamination, endophytic colonization, infections. The unsustainable use of natural resources and their overexploitation continue to be major threats global agriculture development. This practice increases the abiotic stresses, resulting both in crop yield losses soil degradation. Low productivity is often associated with salinized soil, which caused by toxic osmotic effects soluble salt accumulation and, consequently, lack organic matter. Conversely, there a need improve current meet increasing food demands. Among methodologies proposed increase plant resistance stress, utilization production biostimulants has been recently proposed. In this study, we investigated various active ingredients coating to enhance germination. It revealed that with 0.0500 ppm BR and priming 0.01 significantly increased rates, especially low-temperature conditions. addition, the combined use exhibited substantial improvement rates promoted seedling growth. Through transcriptional analysis, it found treatment regulates expression genes associated DNA synthesis, cell wall organization glucan metabolic process involved dormancy Overall, these results provide valuable insights into utilization techniques, particularly inclusion BR, facilitate emergence.

Infections of agricultural crops caused by pathogen ic fungi are among the most widespread and harmful, as they not only reduce quantity harvest but also significantly deteriorate its quality. This study aims to develop unique seed-coating formulations incorporating biopolymers (polyhydroxyalkanoate pullulan) beneficial microorganisms for plant protection against phytopathogens. A microbial association biocompatible endophytic bacteria has been created, including Pseudomonas flavescens D5, Bacillus aerophilus A2, Serratia proteamaculans B5, putida D7. These strains exhibited agronomically valuable properties: synthesis phytohormone IAA (from 45.2 69.2 µg mL−1), antagonistic activity Fusarium oxysporum solani (growth inhibition zones from 1.8 3.0 cm), halotolerance (5–15% NaCl), PHA production (2.77–4.54 g L−1). pullulan synthesized Aureobasidium pullulans C7 showed a low viscosity rate 395 Pa·s 598 Pa·s) depending on concentration polysaccharide solutions. Therefore, at 8.0%, w/v concentration, virtually remained unchanged with increasing shear rate, indicating that it exhibits Newtonian flow behavior. Nevertheless, several decision schemes have been proposed an attempt to define notion microplastics. The different criteria relevant this definition, such as size, physical state, chemical structure, origin, persistence microplastics, are discussed, with comparison being made between REACH regulation literature.
