Abstract
The
energy
performance
of
a
building
has
significant
impact
on
the
environment
as
well
comfort

occupants.
Given
that
window
systems
and
control
elements
such
shading
devices
play
critical
role
in
building's
consumption
comfort,
this
article
presents
an
investigation
into
optimization
windows
four
different
orientations,
along
cardinal
directions,
for
typical
office
room
